Tinted Issue is an independent, non-profit publication within art and design. It is shaped outside of commercial structures, without advertising and without the use of generative artificial intelligence in the making of its content.

The magazine moves between interviews, essays, and photo series. Each story carries its own context, its own way of seeing, without being smoothed into something uniform. Every person, every perspective, holds its own tint.

Through conversations and reflections, the magazine looks beyond the surface, creating space for honesty, nuance, and the things we don’t always show.

What connects the stories is not a shared answer, but a shared condition. The uncertainty, the doubt, and the process behind what eventually becomes visible. It stays unresolved.



The word tint partly stems from the Spanish word tinta – meaning ink. Something physical, imperfect, and lasting. At a time where so much feels instant, polished, borrowed, and untouchable, print becomes a way of returning to something slower and more tangible – something more present, more human.
